About Dr Trupti Amrute

Dr Trupti Amrute evaluates retinal and macular conditions, including diabetes-related eye changes and symptoms such as new flashes, floaters or unexplained reduction in vision. Her consultations may combine a dilated retinal examination with imaging when clinically useful.

Areas of Focus

  • Retina and macular conditions
  • Diabetic retinal assessment
  • Retinal imaging and monitoring
  • Flashes, floaters and sudden vision changes
  • Retinal procedures and follow-up

What to Expect

Dilation may be required for a complete retinal examination. Bring previous OCT scans, retinal photographs, treatment records and a list of current medicines when available.

Important note: A sudden increase in floaters, flashes of light, a curtain-like shadow or rapid reduction in vision should be assessed promptly.
